Bell Hop Boogie

The 2014 PBR Competition Team attended the Dance Educators of America Nationals in Charleston South Carolina July 2-5. PBR became Nationals Champions again by winning first place in 5 categories: A contemporary production “Spring Awakening” choreographed by Rachel Monahan also won a platinum award; Junior jazz “Supermodel” also won platinum and was choreographed by Rachel Monahan; a hip hop routine “Closer” choreographed by Ashley Hand: Junior tap “Bell Hop Boogie choreographed by Natalie Aikens; Senior jazz ” We No Speak Americano” choreography by Rachel Monahan. Anna Bidoli won a special award for “potential and growth” The PBR Dance Competition Team is under the direction of Mary Ellen Everhart, daughter of Miss Pauline.

The Pauline Baker Rodgers School of Dance Competition Team attended the Dance Educators of America Nationals in Charleston, South Carolina in 2012. The senior team became national champions with their titanium award winning senior line routine called “Ghosts.” The dance was choreographed by Rachel Monahan, grand-daughter of Miss Pauline with costumes by Cindy Rabold. The PBR Dance Competition Team is under the direction of Mary Ellen Everhart, daughter of Miss Pauline.
